Polaris is offering farmers and ranchers new ways to traverse the countryside by adding two new members to its family of all-terrain vehicles — the Polaris Ranger 2×4 and Polaris Ranger 4×4. Along with the 6×6 model, the Polaris Ranger family has been engineered to be the world's best vehicle for the world's worst terrain, the company says.
The Polaris Ranger line of vehicles is built tough to serve the agriculture industry in a wide variety of capacities. It has the strength to tow up to 1,500 pounds and can help chores get finished in a flash.
The Polaris Ranger line boasts several features that make it an ideal group of vehicles for farms and ranches. With true four- and six-wheel-drive and a set of all-terrain tires, a trek across rough or bumpy terrain is effortless. If the foliage on that terrain is a little too high, front brush guards help keep the Polaris Ranger moving forward without trouble. And on the other hand, radiator rock guards come in handy if the ground is dry and rocky.
All three Polaris Ranger models offer accessories to help make any job a little easier. A front mount winch is the perfect tool to pull virtually anything, and a power cargo box lift makes hauling and unloading a breeze.
“We're excited to introduce our new Polaris Rangers to all of America, but particularly to farmers and ranchers across the country,” said Mitchell Johnson, ATV general manager. “Our 6×6 is an undisputed powerhouse, and the new 2×4 and 4×4 models offer the perfect amount of vehicle for the money. And all three Polaris Rangers are engineered for power and maneuverability — qualities that should make them a farmer's best friend.”
In 1998, Polaris introduced the Polaris Ranger 6×6, a serious machine built for real world utility work. This six-wheel workhorse immediately became a favorite among farmers, ranchers, hunters and outdoorsmen.
“The response we received when we developed the 6×6 prompted us to begin designing new Polaris Rangers almost immediately,” Johnson said. “We're confident the new 2×4 and 4×4 models will round out the Polaris Ranger family perfectly.”
