The University of Missouri Extension Web site has published numerous links to assist citizens as they recover from the recent storms and floods. At the Web site, you can click on the news, website, and publication tabs to get the most up-to-date information from the University of Missouri, other University resources, and federal, state and local agencies.
The Southeast Missouri Extension Region Storm and Flood Recovery Website includes southeast Missouri information that may not be found on the University of Missouri Extension Web site.
The sites will be updated as more information becomes available so check back often. A wide variety of information is listed from home repair, clean up, farm safety, disinfecting a flooded well, weather, road conditions, and river stages.
On both Web sites you will find a link to the MU Extension publication, Resources for Your Flooded Home, http://extension.missouri.edu/explorepdf/miscpubs/mp0904.pdf. If you would like a copy of this publication or any of the other resources on the Web sites, contact your county Extension office. If you are part of an agency or business that could use multiple copies, Extension can help.
