The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture will hold a peanut production meeting on Jan. 19 at the Black River Technical College auditorium in Pocahontas, Ark.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served.

Speaker will include Scott Monfort, Clemson University Extension peanut specialist; Mike Howell, Mississippi State University Extension peanut specialist; and Travis Faske, University of Arkansas Extension plant pathologist.

Among the topics to be covered: fertility, weed control, irrigation, disease control, insect control, and general agronomic practices. There will also be a group discussion.
