DuPont opens Innovation Center to fight hunger


Innovation is a word used frequently in agricultural circles these days. DuPont is certainly no stranger to the term going back to its founding in Delaware 211 years ago. Chair and CEO Ellen Kullman talked about DuPont’s decision to open a series of Innovation Centers around the world at the opening of the 12th such facility on the Pioneer Campus in Johnston, Iowa, June 25. She said the Centers have generated more than 225 active projects aimed at increasing world food production and processing since the opening of the first two years ago.
