Busy year for the pork industry, farm bill task force co-chair says

The U.S. Senate has agreed to take up the farm bill proposed by its Ag Committee, but there’s no guarantee the legislation will be passed this year. Sam Carney, a producer from Adair, Iowa, talks about the National Pork Producer Council’s farm bill priorities and legislative issues in this interview at the World Pork Expo in Des Moines. Carney also discusses the possible timetable for the new legislation.
