Delta Center field day July 20

The research staff of the Delta Research and Extension Center of Stoneville, Miss., will present highlights of current research projects July 20. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Charles W. Capps Jr. Entrepreneurial Center with presentations starting at 8:30 a.m. and lunch served at noon.

Featured topics will be herbicide drift and glyphosate resistant weeds. Issues will be addressed and strategies for control will be presented.

The center’s field day activities will be held on one day this year. Cotton and corn sessions will run concurrently with rice and soybean sessions. The event will be indoors with the once standard field tours now an after-lunch option for those interested.
