New Course
The 2,000-member Weed Science Society of America’s (WSSA) Herbicide Resistance Action Committee has developed this five-module education program entitled Current Status of Herbicide Resistance in Weeds. It is being hosted by Penton Media on its CE portal for licensed professionals to earn credit for taking the course. It is currently accredited for CE units/hours for licensed professionals in California, Arizona, Florida and Texas. It is also accredited for 2 hours of CCA soil and water credit. Additional state-credit is pending.
Potassium nitrate has a positive effect in controlling plant pests and diseases when applied as an additive to crop protection agrochemicals. This course also has a section on the role of nutrients in IPM.
