Forget MBA, get ag degree - investor Jim Rogers

Investor Jim Rogers encourages young people to pursue agriculture degrees. The future, he says, is "going to be the producers of real goods."

Young people who have not decided on their futures should pursue agriculture degrees rather than MBAs, investor Jim Rogers told CNBC in a recent interview.

The reason? "Finance is in decline. In the future, the center of the world will not be finance — it's going to be the producers of real good."

He also cites an expected rise in the ag industry. "Recently, I've been looking at agriculture stocks. I've been excited about looking for things to buy in agriculture."
