Bestway introduces combine head transporter

Bestway Inc. introduces a new class of combine head and 3-point implement transport — the Retriever Self Loading Trailer (SLT).

The Retriever uses its own hydraulic system to lift large combine heads or implements, and then rotates them lengthwise on the trailer for narrow road transport.

“The Retriever allows one man and one truck to load, move and unload combine heads without the need for a combine or forklift to assist” says Dave Benson, director of sales and marketing for Bestway. The Retriever can also load onto, or unload from, most conventional combine head trailers.

Five models of the Retriever SLT are available, including two bumper pull and three goose neck versions. Axle capacity choices are 16,000 pounds or 20,000 pounds with maximum load length from 36 feet to 49 feet, depending on the model.

Options include decking to haul light freight and a CabCAM rear viewing video camera system and monitor.
