BASF crop protection offers end March 15

• These are unmatched opportunities for growers to improve yield, mitigate risk, manage costs, and maximize profits.

Growers have until March 15, 2012 to take advantage of several offers from BASF Crop Protection to help them manage risk, increase efficiency and maximize yield.

The offers expiring March 15 include partial purchase price rebates for certain BASF High Yield Package product purchases (Investment Advantage), interest-free financing on qualifying purchases (Finance Advantage), and as much as 20 percent savings on select products (Headline Advantage).

An additional offer, Insurance Advantage, allows qualifying growers to reduce their crop insurance premiums.

“These are unmatched opportunities for growers to improve yield, mitigate risk, manage costs, and maximize profits,” said Paul Rea, vice-president of U.S. Crop Protection for BASF. “They are a prime example of how BASF is dedicated to giving growers every opportunity to help them get the most out of every acre.”

BASF Investment Advantage is for growers who purchase at least 300 acres worth of three products within a BASF High Yield Package by March 15, 2012. These growers may receive a partial rebate of their qualifying High Yield Package product purchases if the BASF Established Harvest Price for the corresponding commodity ends below the BASF Established Starting Price.

The Headline Advantage offer from BASF has expanded to include more BASF products for the 2012 season.

By purchasing Headline fungicide, Headline AMP fungicide and/or TwinLine fungicide by March 15, 2012, growers may be eligible to save up to 20 percent on their qualifying fungicide purchase when they purchase a second BASF product such as Kixor herbicide technology.

The second product purchased must be at least $2,000.

With Finance Advantage, growers who choose to finance the qualifying purchase of two or more BASF products by March 15, 2012 will receive no payments and no interest until December 2012.

Growers can increase their bottom line by saving money with interest-free financing. BASF is again partnering with John Deere financial to bring growers this offer.

With Insurance Advantage, corn growers who are customers of Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio or Wisconsin and who protect their acres with a Crop Hail Policy and Green Snap Lodging wind protection may qualify for free Extra Harvest Expense coverage by using Headline or Headline AMP.
