The average age of America’s farmers is 57. How do you grab the attention of young people and get them interested in continuing to work the land? Nancy Creamer discusses some things being done at North Carolina State University’s Center for Environmental Farming including summer farm apprenticeships and a sustainable food policy group run by youth.
