Arkansas continues test for LibertyLink in seed

The Arkansas State Plant Board has voted unanimously to extend into next year the requirement that rice seed in Arkansas be tested for traces of the Bayer CropScience LibertyLink traits that were discovered in the U.S. commercial supply in 2006.

Prior to April 1, 2008, all rice seed must be tested for LibertyLink. Any seed found with the traits may not be planted.
