2004 Delta Center Research Update

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — The 2004 Delta Center Research Update for professional crop advisors will be Dec. 8-9 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. CCAs will get 16 Continuing Education Units, four each for the individual subject matter areas.

The location is the University of Missouri Delta Center Main office, just south of Portageville, on Highway T.

The update features speakers who make their living working with crop advisors and producers. They will stress their latest research results — even if the results are preliminary.

The fee is $15 per four-hour session or $50 to attend all four sessions. Lunch is included. Credit hours are officially pending, but organizers expect full approval.

Not a CCA? The program will be useful to and affordable for anyone involved in professional crop advising, CCA or not.

All crops will be covered, but cotton and rice are emphasized.

Pre-registration is requested. Call the Delta Center at 573-379-5431.
