Rice Research Station field day participants have learned to come dressed for hot, humid weather. This year's field day wasn't like that at all, but attendees still got into the spirit of learning about new technology, including a demonstration of an unmanned aerial vehicle, which was held outside.
Farmers gathered at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, Miss., for the Mid-Season Crops Field Day to hear crop updates from Mississippi State University Extension specialists and researchers. Talk of excessive moisture dominated the day.
