Residual herbicides – not perfect, but all we have for now

Residual herbicides are not as consistent for weed control as what glyphosate and Roundup Ready crops provided.

The key to control of glyphosate-resistant pigweed is overlaying residual herbicides. Start with a solid residual program, and before that residual program breaks, come in with another residual herbicide.

The trick with residuals is to get them activated, through either irrigation, rainwater or incorporation.
