Researchers at Pioneer are continuing to work on DuPont’s Optimum GAT technology, a technology that combines glyphosate resistance with resistance to sulfonylurea herbicides. Pioneer’s Steve Schnebly says that once the product receives registration, Pioneer will begin working on placing the resistance in canola and corn to help growers continue their ongoing battle against problem weeds in those crops.
