‘Frying Frenzy’ highlights new Plenish soybean oil

Folks attending the Iowa State Fair take their fried foods seriously. Where else can you find fried butter on a stick? That’s why Pioneer, which is headquartered in Iowa, decided to unveil its new Plenish high-oleic cooking oil at this year’s fair by sponsoring a cooking contest called “Frying Frenzy.” Russ Sanders, director of Pioneer’s Plenish Venture, emceed the event and interviewed the nine area chefs who prepared and served food cooked with Plenish at the fair.
