Delta Rice Promotions, Inc., is hosting the 21st annual Rice Tasting Luncheon in Cleveland, Miss., at the Walter Sillers Coliseum on the campus of Delta State University on Friday, Sept. 16.

The luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. and last until 1 p.m.

In addition to the luncheon, this year three Delta chefs — David Crews, Walt Norwood, and David Wright — will compete in a rice cook-off from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

There will be more than 300 rice dishes to taste. All dishes will be prepared by Delta rice cooks and participating restaurants.

Door prizes will be given during the rice tasting luncheon. There will also be displays and exhibits.
