The 28th Annual Ag Expo will be held Jan. 15-16 at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe, La.
New for 2010 is the concurrent annual meeting of the Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association to be held across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The show features an industry trade show complete with new technologies, products and commodity samples, a Junior Livestock Show, a Forestry Forum (registration required), educational exhibits, antique tractor show, Borden’s Elsie the Cow with Beauregard and more.
Ag Expo 2010 will be the official trade show of the LCA annual meeting. Already, several new exhibitors are committed to the show.
Exhibitors are being accepted thru Dec. 18.

The Junior Livestock Show is one of the largest in the state. Organized with LSU AgCenter, this year’s event will feature beef, dairy, swine, goats and sheep, plus an ARBA sanctioned Rabbit Show. Cash prizes, ribbons and jackets will be awarded, plus belt buckles for Showmanship Divisions.
Reservations are now being accepted for the Forestry Forum. Many new concepts for the forestry industry will be discussed, including genetics, soil fertility and value added chemical products from recycled wood. The Forestry Forum will be held Jan. 16, beginning at 8 a.m. at The Hilton Garden Inn.
