SENATE MAJORITY Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., will discuss key agricultural issues at an Aug. 22 meeting sponsored by the Memphis-based National Cotton Council of America.

West Tennessee farmers are urged to attend the event, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Brownsville, Tenn., at the Willie German Equipment Company, 1341 S. Dupree.

A question and answer session will follow Frist's address in Haywood County, the state's largest cotton-producing county and one centrally located in west Tennessee.
