The Mississippi Peanut Growers Association will hold three field days in September, and growers are invited to attend and get a firsthand look at disease plots, insect trial results, and variety and cultural practices trials.

MPGA Executive Director Malcolm Broome says, “We will also have presentations by Jason Sarver, Mississippi State University assistant Extension/research professor and state peanut specialist; Alan Henn, MSU professor of entomology and plant pathology; and Jeff Gore, associate Extension research professor at the Delta Research and Extension Center.

“These specialists will answer grower questions and discuss the work they’re doing on behalf of Mississippi peanut growers.”
