NRCS chief to outline 2008 conservation programs

Arlen Lancaster, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service chief, will address the USA Rice Producers’ Group Conservation Committee Saturday, July 12, during a committee meeting in Dallas.

Lancaster will discuss his agency’s implementation of the 2008 farm law’s conservation programs.

The Conservation Committee will meet from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Las Colinas West room at the Four Seasons, Dallas.

Lancaster’s speech is open to all USA Rice Federation members who will be in Dallas Saturday afternoon.
