Rice Outlook Conference Dec. 7-9

The USA Rice Outlook Conference will be held Dec. 7-9 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Ark. The annual conference features a trade show as well as educational sessions focusing on key issues for rice farmers and the U.S. rice industry.

This year’s program will cover the economic outlook, farm bill implementation, the domestic and international rice situation, research reports from the rice-growing states, and other topics.

Conference registration, exhibitor, and sponsorship information is available online on the Industry Affairs page of www.usarice.com. Register by Nov. 14 to take advantage of the “early bird” registration rate.

Special hotel rates are available for rooms booked now through Nov. 5 at the Peabody Little Rock, which is adjacent to the convention center.

The conference is an annual educational service of the USA Rice Federation. Host state responsibilities rotate among the rice-growing states. The 2009 USA Rice Outlook Conference will be held Dec. 9-11 in New Orleans, La. For more information, contact USA Rice at (703) 236-1447.
