2010 Louisiana Crop Forum Jan. 19

Farmers can hear about the latest in research designed to help grow profitable crops during the 2010 Northeast Louisiana Crop Forum slated for Jan. 19 at the Rayville Civic Center in Rayville, La.
LSU AgCenter agent Keith Collins said a variety of topics will be addressed during the forum, which will run from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
The forum will feature LSU AgCenter experts who will present information on insecticides, weed resistance management, the market outlook on corn and soybeans and crop production issues and varieties in corn, cotton and soybeans.
The event has been approved by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry for private pesticide applicator recertification, Collins said.
