Advan: now subsidiary of Sipcam Agro USA

Advan LLC has became a wholly owned subsidiary of Sipcam Agro USA, Inc. The move is part of an ongoing effort to focus Advan on meeting the needs of key U.S. customers.
Advan products, which include traditional and biorational products for professional turf and ornamental, specialty agriculture and home and garden markets in the United States and Mexico, remain unchanged.
Core Advan personnel will continue to serve customers while providing ongoing continuity and expertise for future expansion of the product portfolio.
“There is a tremendous opportunity for the Advan range of biorational products in the organic and conventional markets,” Andy Lee, Advan president and chief executive officer, said.
“The organic market is one of the fastest growing sectors of the U.S. food industry, with sales of organic food and beverages rising from $1 billion in 1990 to around $24 billion this year. Advan products allow growers to achieve cost-effective production, while meeting the demands of consumers.
