New foodservice ad promotes healthy rice meals

“Rice is So in Tune, Healthy Meals Hit a High Note” is the message in USA Rice Federation’s new foodservice ad appearing in the 2007 summer issues of Flavor & The Menu, Restaurant Business, and other major foodservice magazines.
The ad reinforces rice’s role as an essential ingredient for menus and promotes U.S. rice as “the perfect harmony of taste and nutrition.” The healthy eating trend has become a top driver for chefs and operators in designing their menus to meet customer demand.
The ad features Chimichurri Chicken Rice Bowl, a colorful combination of fresh vegetables, lean protein and whole-grain brown rice.
USA Rice’s advertising is designed to increase usage of U.S. rice in foodservice by driving chefs and menu planners to www.MenuRice.com for inspiring recipes and menu ideas. The Web site receives 10,000 visitors monthly, with the Culinary & Recipe Center, All About Rice, and Sourcing U.S. Rice sections receiving the most views.
