Andy Bell joins Delta Farm Press

CLARKSDALE, Miss. -- Andrew M. Bell has joined Delta Farm Press as associate editor, working out of the company’s Clarksdale, Miss., headquarters.
“We’re pleased to have Andy as a member of the Farm Press editorial team,” said Hembree Brandon, editorial director. “His broad experience and journalistic talent will help us to continue providing our readers with the most informative agricultural publication in Delta.”
In addition to developing material for the Farm Press print editions, Bell will assist with the Farm Press Daily newsletter disseminated via the Internet, and with the Web site, www.deltafarmpress.com.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., Bell earned a B.A. degree from the University of Memphis and an M.A. from Rivier College, Nashua, N.H.
Prior to joining Farm Press, he worked with the Collierville (Tenn.) Herald, the Millington (Tenn.) Star and the South Tipton (Tenn.) Star, and the Memphis Daily News.
He was winner of several Tennessee Press Association awards.
Bell and his wife, Emily, live at Lyon, Miss.
