The Mississippi Agricultural Consultants Association will hold a soybean crop consulting workshop, “Soybean Consulting in 2005: New Challenges, New Opportunities,” March 24-25 at the Grand Casino Veranda Hotel in Tunica, Miss.
The two-day workshop will feature speakers from across the Mid-South addressing all aspects of soybean crop consulting, including special emphasis on the identification and control of Asian soybean rust.
MACA board members Joe Townsend, Lula, Miss., Brian Hayes, Lexington, Miss., and Tucker Miller, Drew, Miss., spearheaded the effort to coordinate and plan the workshop.
“We don’t need to panic about soybean rust. We simply need to be equipped to deal with it. I believe this workshop will do just that,” Hayes said.
Registration is open to independent crop consultants across the United States, but space is limited to the first 150 registrants to maintain an environment where feedback and discussion can flourish.
