New Holland expands sprayer line

New Holland’s new Guardian sprayers quickly protect more acres per hour with the industry’s highest horsepower, largest tank size, smoothest suspension, highest ground clearance and tightest turning radius.

With the addition of the new Guardian sprayers, producers can now take their crops from establishment to harvest with a full line of New Holland equipment.

New Holland’s new Guardian sprayers quickly protect more acres per hour with the industry’s highest horsepower, largest tank size, smoothest suspension, highest ground clearance and tightest turning radius.

“A sprayer is a critical purchase because during the season, producers need total control in the timing of their chemical applications,” says Miles Mackow, New Holland Harvesting and Precision Farming Brand Marketing Segment Leader. “With the exceptional productivity of these sprayers, producers can get into their fields just about any time during the growing season to protect their investment and profit for the year.”

Three front-boom models with four-wheel hydrostatic drive and two rear-boom models with two-wheel mechanical drive are available. An industry-leading 15-foot turning radius allows for easy maneuvering in tight spaces and effortless headland turns.

The three front-boom Guardian models have up to 365 horsepower with a choice of tank sizes up to an industry-leading 1,600 gallons and boom widths up to 120 feet to cover acres fast. A balanced 50/50 weight distribution keeps the wheels firmly on the ground for maximum traction and minimum compaction, and the six-foot ground clearance allows the sprayer to get into the field throughout the growing season. Operator comfort is at a premium with the full, straight ahead visibility of the front-boom and the added quietness in the cab due to the engine positioned at the rear of the sprayer.

The unique hydraulic suspension, which provides excellent stability and the smoothest ride in the industry, improves spraying accuracy while further increasing operator comfort. The four-wheel independent suspension is hydraulically controlled and allows for a suspension travel on each wheel of 20 inches to handle the toughest ground conditions and ensure better boom stability, and superior traction no matter what the terrain.

New Holland’s two new Guardian rear boom sprayers, available in 240- and 275-horsepower models, offer a proven design and easy maintenance. Heavy-duty frame and axle construction and the clean, rugged, mechanical drive system ensures better performance, higher productivity, improved fuel efficiency, and lower operating costs.

Wide coverage and high clearance allows the operator to spray huge areas in a hurry with models that cover up to 120 feet with each pass and tanks that hold up to 1,200 gallons. Crop clearance of up to 48 inches allows spraying late into the growing season. Wrap-around rear windows provide outstanding visibility to the spray boom. High-performance options include front-wheel assist and hydraulic tread adjustment, which allows the operator to make wheel spacing changes from the cab. The four equal-size tires provide a better ride, better turning and less compaction.
