Mississippi Entomological Association schedules annual fall conference

The Mississippi Entomological Association will hold its annual conference Nov. 2-4 at the Bost Building on the Mississippi State University campus, Starkville, Miss. The theme for this year's conference is “Mississippi, What's Bugging You?”

Harry Fulton, director of the pesticide division of the Mississippi Bureau of Plant Industry, will deliver the keynote address, “New and Emerging Pests in Mississippi.” He will be followed by a series of talks on remote sensing and its applications in entomology, presentations on some troublesome pest insects in Mississippi commodities, and talks from researchers in academia, government, and industry.

Registered meeting participants will enjoy an industry-sponsored mixer the evening of Nov. 3.
