The University of Tennessee’s Cotton Focus will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, in Jackson, Tenn.
Cotton Focus features presentations from UT research and Extension specialists on topics such as herbicide-resistant weeds, no-till production and precision agriculture.
Cotton Focus also includes information about the Boll Weevil Eradication program and insight from Mississippi State University research entomologist Jeff Gore.
Each year Cotton Focus serves as a valuable learning opportunity for many area farmers and industry employees.
The 2009 event takes place at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center located at 605 Airways Boulevard, Jackson, Tenn.
