Furrow irrigation waste - new challenge for Delta farmers

Delta farmers appear to be moving away from center pivots to furrow irrigation systems. But the shift toward the more basic form of watering is raising questions about irrigation efficiency. Mississippi State University’s Jason Krutz discussed some of the issues being created by the change in his presentation during the Irrigation Technology Seminar at the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show.
