Corn, soybean increase - new opportunities, pitfalls


The potential jump in corn and soybean acres in the Mid-South and Southeast this spring could be a plus for efforts to reduce glyphosate resistance in Palmer amaranth. But it could also create other weed control problems for unwary growers. The University of Tennessee’s Tom Mueller talked about the pluses and minuses in an interview at the MANA Crop Protection Annual Southern Crop Consultant Meeting in Memphis, Tenn.
