The Seam licenses software from Cotton Incorporated

THE SEAM, an Internet-based cotton trading company, has become a licensee of Cotton Incorporated's proprietary Engineered Fiber Selection (EFS) QRNet32 computer software to provide detailed bale data for its customers via the Worldwide Web.
“This software provides EFS users the ability to easily obtain data compatible with QRNet and MILLNet on every bale purchased through The Seam,” said Charles H. Chewning, vice president, Fiber Management Research, Cotton Incorporated.
Cotton Incorporated has also been working with The Seam to install, provide training and implement an XML-based file format that is able to quickly deliver data to its Internet customers.
New software features also improve interaction with other existing EFS programs like MILLNet32 and MILLNet, by facilitating the importing of the XML-based downloaded data.
