Deere synthetic grease meets special needs

LIVESTOCK, PRODUCE, and dairy producers now have a synthetic, non-toxic, high-performance lubricant for all farming and general-purpose equipment applications. New John Deere Multi-Purpose Extreme-Duty Synthetic Grease is a synthetic lubricant in a biodegradable, non-toxic formula.

Formulated with Syncolon, Multi-Purpose Extreme-Duty Synthetic Grease is odorless, waterproof, silicone-free, and outlasts petroleum-based greases and oils. It repels dirt, dust and grime, prevents rust and corrosion, and is backed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for use in food-handling and processing facilities.

“John Deere Multi-Purpose Extreme-Duty Synthetic Grease protects equipment from daily wear and tear, but it's non-toxic formula also prevents livestock, agricultural commodities, and household pets from coming into contact with toxins commonly found in other lubricants,” says Jim Walton, worldwide product manager for lubricants, John Deere Parts and Service Marketing.

Applications for the grease include use on farm, construction, commercial and marine equipment. It is safe for use around most plastic, rubber and vinyl, and can be used for general-purpose needs, such as windows, garage doors, bicycles and many other applications.
