Producers from Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi will have an opportunity to hear the latest in soybean research during the 2006 Tri-State Soybean Meeting slated for Jan. 6 at the Delhi Civic Center in Delhi, La.

Hosted by the LSU AgCenter, the meeting will feature a variety of topics covered by experts from the LSU AgCenter, the University of Arkansas and Mississippi State University.

Keith Collins, LSU AgCenter Richland Parish county agent and chairperson of the event, said activities are scheduled to get under way with registration at 8 a.m.

“We have scheduled a variety of presentations we believe will help soybean producers grow more profitable crops,” Collins said. “We encourage everyone who has anything to do with the production of soybeans to attend.”

Speakers will include LSU AgCenter soybean specialist David Lanclos, who will speak on “Successes in Mid-South Soybean Verification Programs.”
