Rob Aukerman says the world is at a cross-roads because of the growing food insecurity in many countries and in the United States. Aukerman and Elanco Animal Health have been working with farmers one-on-one to try to raise food productivity. But Aukerman believes the world’s farmers and agriculturalists must step up the use of technology to make real inroads toward feeding the world’s hungry. He discussed his ideas during a session at this year’s World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa.
