Rain has returned to parts of the South and, while that’s a good thing, it may usher in a new flush of weeds for pasture and forage producers this spring. DuPont’s Roxy Gutschenritter is advising growers to begin checking pastures early to control winter annuals and early emerging broadleaf weed species. Her comments came in an interview at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association annual meeting in Nashville, Tenn.
