USDA to validate payment eligibility

In response to the discovery of nearly $50 million in payments to ineligible farmers, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have begun efforts to ensure that high-income individuals and entities who request USDA payments meet income limits set forth in the 2008 Farm Bill....

Weed Resistance Management in Cotton

This course covers a wide range of options to effectively control weeds in cotton and reduce the risk of weed resistance management. It is accredited for hours/units for licensed/accredited applicators in 7 U.S. Cotton Belt states (Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, South Carolina an d Tennessee.
