The Louisiana Agricultural Consultants Association is accepting applications for annual undergraduate and graduate college scholarships. There will be a minimum of one undergraduate and one graduate scholarship awarded each year. The minimum amount awarded will be $1,000 per scholarship.

The scholarships will be awarded to any student in the following fields: entomology, plant pathology, weed science, botany, microbiology, biology, agronomy, plant science, horticulture, agribusiness, and vocational agriculture.

The deadline for submitting applications is Jan. 10, 2008. Winners will be announced at the Louisiana Agricultural Technology and Management Conference on Feb. 6-8, 2008.
