Great Plains Disc-o-vators feature narrow transport

Great Plains announces an all new line of narrow transport Disc-o-vators. Greg Brenneman, marketing manager of Great Plains says, "These tools build on the successes of the current series 8 disc-o-vators and add the increased safety of a 10 foot transport width."

He goes on to say that as with all series 8 models they feature hydraulically controlled disc gangs with the choice of turbo coulter blades or low concavity disc blades.

The front disc gangs are followed by either Heavy-duty K-flex or Heavy-Duty Magnum shanks. Both shank options feature the max mix pattern. He points out that this important feature insures that trash is not windrowed and chemicals are incorporated evenly. "No other Disc-o-vator is as efficient as this one at evenly mixing the soil," says Brenneman.

The ground is finished by one of their four leveler options. They include a combination of coil tine, spike tooth and reel assembly.

Sizes available are: 15, 18, 21,and 24 feet .
