Pest managers focus on pest ecology

Bringing together members of the Mississippi Association of Plant Pathologists and Nematologists, the Mississippi Weed Science Society, and the Mississippi Entomological Association, the upcoming conference will cover many topics of interest, and will feature guest speakers from various areas of agriculture.

Among the topics to be discussed at the meeting are biotechnology, eco-profitable pest management, the new Bollgard II genetically enhanced cotton varieties, soybean rust disease, and Roundup Ready Flex and Liberty Link weed control programs.

The meeting will also feature sessions on plant pathology, weed science, and entomology.

While this conference is approved for applicator and consultant license renewal, CEU’s for Certified Crop Advisors are pending approval.
