Agricultural runoff into the Chesapeake Bay has become a high-profile issue given the Bay’s proximity to the nation’s Capitol. Fortunately for farmers, not all environmental organizations have the same view of the controversy. The Environmental Defense Fund’s Suzy Friedman’s provided the EDF’s take on it during an interview at Commodity Classic. Friedman was a speaker at the Ag Issues Forum, sponsored by Bayer CropScience, at this year’s event in Nashville.
