Budget reduction efforts move farm bill forward?

The recent efforts by the Congressional Select Committee on Deficit Reduction came to naught. But the exercise may have helped move the farm bill process forward. Texas A&M’s Joe Outlaw discussed the status of  farm bill negotiations during an interview at the USA Rice Federation Outlook Conference in Austin, Texas.
