The Deep South Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference and Trade Show is scheduled for Dec. 7-9 at the Riverview Plaza Hotel in Mobile, Ala.

The meeting will have concurrent sessions, some starting Dec. 7 at 9 a.m. and some starting at noon.

There will be four concurrent all-day sessions on Dec. 8.

Some topics will be new blueberry growers, new vegetable growers, agribusiness, computers — how to start a Web site and how to improve a Web site, labor, insurance, farmers’ markets, and minority farming. Some of the topics will be combined into one meeting room.

Dec. 8 will be devoted to fruits, vegetables, organics, and blueberries.

This year’s meeting may have the largest number of exhibitors ever.
