The Deep South Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference is set for Dec. 8-10, 2004, at the Riverview Plaza in Mobile, Ala.

Over 400 attendees are expected. Educational sessions with speakers from throughout the South will include alternative crops, agri-tourism, fruit and vegetable production, organics, and value-added opportunities.

The conference, hosted by the growers associations of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama, also includes a trade show, new growers training, and two food functions. CCA credits will be available.
