NEED TIMELY, up-to-date information on cotton insect control? The Cotton Insect Situation Newsletter, produced weekly by Mississippi State University Extension entomologists during the cotton insect season, is provided free to producers, consultants, county agents, distributors, field men, industry representatives, applicators and others interested in cotton insect control.

The newsletter includes tips on pest identification and biology, along with information on how and when to scout for various pests. It also contains information on pest thresholds and recommended treatments.

Results of recent insecticide trials are frequently included in the Cotton Insect Situation Newsletter so growers can see for themselves which treatments worked best.

Updates on developing pest problems and new insecticides are featured.
