Traditional methods of ant control don't always work on red fire ant mounds. The Fire Ant Probe, a 30-inch steel probe with 14-inch handle and quick-connect tube to accommodate back pack sprayers, delivers insecticide directly into the ant mound.

The probe can be inserted into the mound on several levels to penetrate the nest and prevent ants from escaping.
