Higher seed costs put premium on planter accuracy

Kinze Manufacturing, Inc., recently introduced a new planter, the Kinze 4900, that promises 99 percent accuracy of seeding at speeds from 2 to 8 mph. Kinze’s Rhett Schildroth demonstrated how the planter seeding mechanism works during a session at a media event at Kinze Innovation Center in Williamsburg, Iowa. The new planter will be available in 2014.
