Dan Bagan, senior vice president of Penton Media’s Food Retail Group, has been promoted to senior vice president of the newly formed Agricultural and Food Group.

He will maintain his current responsibility for Supermarket News and several restaurant and baking titles, adding oversight of Penton’s livestock and agricultural titles

Farm Press Publications; BEEF; Corn and Soybean Digest; Farm Industry News; Hay and Forage Grower, and National Hog Farmer.

Additionally, he will have oversight of printing titles American Printer and PFFC, construction titles Concrete Products; Rock Products, and Mine and Quarry Trader together with Fire Chief and electrical titles EC&M and Electrical Wholesaling.

Dan will become a member of Penton’s Executive Committee, reporting to John French, Penton’s chief executive officer.
